Account Manager — AI Search
About growthvibe
growthvibe is an AI-native growth consultancy founded in 2026. We help ambitious businesses win visibility, demand, and authority in the age of answer engines. Our specialism — Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) — is a new discipline built for a world where AI platforms synthesise answers rather than serve links.
We're founder-led, intentionally small, and building something genuinely new.
The Role
We're looking for a commercially-minded relationship builder to manage our client accounts and help grow our prospect pipeline. You'll be the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring they get outstanding results and strategic guidance. You'll also play a key role in business development — building relationships with prospects, supporting the sales process, and helping convert interest into long-term partnerships.
What You'll Do
- Own the client relationship — run regular check-ins, present monthly reports, and ensure clients feel supported and informed
- Translate technical AEO/GEO work into clear, commercially relevant updates that clients actually care about
- Identify opportunities to expand client engagements — upselling additional services where there's genuine value
- Manage prospect relationships from initial interest through to signed engagement
- Support discovery calls and proposal development with research and preparation
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified prospects through outreach, networking, and referrals
- Feed client insights back to the team to improve delivery and inform product development
- Attend industry events and represent growthvibe in the market
What We're Looking For
- 2–4 years' experience in account management, client services, or business development — ideally in an agency, consultancy, or SaaS environment
- Strong relationship skills — clients trust you, enjoy working with you, and renew because of the experience you create
- Commercially aware — you understand pipeline, retention, LTV, and what drives a healthy client book
- Confident communicator who can present data and strategy to senior stakeholders without defaulting to jargon
- Organised and proactive — nothing falls through the cracks on your watch
- Comfortable with ambiguity — you'll be building processes as much as following them
Nice to Have
- Understanding of SEO, digital marketing, or the broader search landscape
- Interest in AI and how it's transforming search and discovery
- Experience managing accounts worth £1k–£5k/month
- Existing network in marketing, e-commerce, or B2B SaaS
What's In It For You
The Basics
- 25 days annual leave + bank holidays
- Your birthday off
- 5% employer pension contribution (above statutory minimum)
- Hybrid working — 1–2 days per week at our office at 131 Finsbury Pavement, London, the rest remote
- Flexible hours — core hours 10am–3pm, flex around that
The Extras
- £750 annual learning and development budget — courses, certifications, books, conferences
- Free breakfast on office days
- £300 home office stipend to set up your remote workspace
- AI tools provided — Claude, relevant API access, and whatever you need to do your best work
- £30/month wellness allowance — gym, meditation apps, whatever works for you
The Opportunity
You won't be managing 40 accounts and firefighting all day. This is a small, high-value client book where you'll be a genuine strategic partner, not a project chaser. You'll also help shape our commercial approach from the inside — how we pitch, how we onboard, how we retain. If you want to be part of building a business, not just servicing one, this is the place.
