AI Engineer / AI Workflows
About growthvibe
growthvibe is an AI-native growth consultancy founded in 2026. We help ambitious businesses win visibility, demand, and authority in the age of answer engines. Our specialism — Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) — is a new discipline built for a world where AI platforms synthesise answers rather than serve links.
We're founder-led, intentionally small, and building something genuinely new.
The Role
We need someone who can build the AI workflows and systems that power what we do. This isn't a research role — it's about creating practical, production-grade AI workflows that make our consulting delivery faster, sharper, and more scalable. You'll design and build the automation layer behind our audits, reports, monitoring, and client deliverables.
What You'll Do
- Design and build AI-powered workflows for client delivery — automated auditing, monitoring, reporting, and analysis
- Create systems that query AI platforms (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini) at scale to track brand visibility and citations
- Build internal tools and dashboards that turn raw AI data into actionable client insights
- Develop prompt engineering frameworks and reusable templates for consistent, high-quality outputs
- Integrate AI capabilities into our consulting processes — making the team faster without sacrificing quality
- Evaluate and implement new AI tools, APIs, and platforms as the landscape evolves
- Document systems and workflows clearly enough that non-technical team members can use and maintain them
What We're Looking For
- Strong experience building production AI workflows — not just experimenting, but shipping things that work reliably
- Proficient in Python and comfortable with APIs, data pipelines, and automation tooling
- Hands-on experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google) and prompt engineering
- Ability to work across the stack — from data collection to processing to a clean front-end or dashboard
- Pragmatic problem-solver who builds for reliability and maintainability, not just novelty
- Strong communication skills — you can explain technical decisions to non-technical people
- Comfortable working in a small team where you'll own the entire technical function
Nice to Have
- Experience with web scraping, data extraction, or search/SEO tooling
- Familiarity with no-code/low-code platforms (Make, n8n, Zapier) alongside custom development
- Experience building tools for agencies or consultancies
- Interest in the AI search and answer engine space specifically
What's In It For You
The Basics
- 25 days annual leave + bank holidays
- Your birthday off
- 5% employer pension contribution (above statutory minimum)
- Hybrid working — 1–2 days per week at our office at 131 Finsbury Pavement, London, the rest remote
- Flexible hours — core hours 10am–3pm, flex around that
The Extras
- £750 annual learning and development budget — courses, certifications, books, conferences
- Free breakfast on office days
- £300 home office stipend to set up your remote workspace
- AI tools provided — Claude, relevant API access, and whatever you need to do your best work
- £30/month wellness allowance — gym, meditation apps, whatever works for you
The Opportunity
You'll own the technical layer of an AI-native consultancy from day one. The systems you build will directly shape how we deliver for clients and how the business scales. There's no legacy tech to maintain — everything you build is new. If you want to be the person who defines how AI workflows work at a company rather than inheriting someone else's decisions, this is the role.
